Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Posizione lavorativa
The Main Press Centre Operations Manager has the key role to manage and oversee the daily operations of the MPC, ensuring that all media service areas function smoothly and efficiently.
The role involves coordinating logistics matters, supervising the setup and maintenance of all press-related facilities, and addressing operational challenges that may arise. This role involves liaising with multiple departments to maintain a collaborative environment and ensure operational success. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in the role.

Requirements:
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships;
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow through on issues and actions;
- Ability to deliver to high standards under pressure, maintaining calm, proactive behavior and optimistic attitude;
- Strong communication skills;
- Respect of policies and procedures;
- Good understanding of the needs of media working at major international sport events;
- Excellent written and spoken language skills in English is imperative. Fluency in Italian is an advantage;
- IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and Internet;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Esperienza richiesta
- Extensive experience in Media Operations and/or Venue Management;
- Experience in delivering media operations at international sports events, preferably in previous Olympic Games;
- Experience in team management.
