Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Posizione lavorativa
All activities will be supervised by the Education & Culture Director and by Education and Culture team. A list of tasks in which the resource will be involved and which he/she will have to supervise:
- Secretarial activities: supporting the contractual part, checking/archiving agreements, assisting with meetings and writing up meeting notes;
- Back office activities: for current engagement activities (label, pcto, etc.); and during Games time;
- Test Event and Games Time - reporting directly to Area Referent: participation and follow-up at meetings/calls, files/tools, groups/teams; related implementation and position in Game Time in venues; support Ticketing-school activities: processes and platforms;
- Basic accounting activities with external parties: external relations support, report writing and update tools, files and monitoring of matrix;
- Writing texts for news, site and documents, updating data and presentations;
- Updating events information on the Education and Culture website and pages;
- Logistics/event support: Pre-event activities, preparation of information materials (power point presentations);
- In-event field logistics support: badges, access management, small set-ups; guest reception, support to technical team;
- Post-event activities: feedback collection, participation analysis, documentation archiving.
Objectives of the project:
- Acquisition of skills in project secretariat management;
- Acquisition of organisational and project management skills;
- Acquisition of skills in strategic and cultural planning;
- Support the team with the various education and cultural programs and projects pre-games and games times;
- Assistance with the labelling process and sub-brand granting;
- Data management and organization to support the development of Education and Cultural programme calendar;
- Data archiving and analysis for future KPI reporting and performance evaluation.
Profilo ricercato
Requirements:
- Minimal experience in project management (PMo);
- Event organisation;
- Knowledge of the Italian cultural and educational context;
- Strong practical mindset, highly responsive and quick to act;
- Attention to detail;
- Discreet and reliable;
- Knowledge of Office package;
- Fluent knowledge of English.
