Rockin'1000 is the biggest rock band on earth—famous for its viral Foo Fighters tribute and for bringing together 1000 musicians to play live in stadiums around the world. Beyond the large-scale shows, the project has evolved into a global music community with formats that make live performance accessible to musicians everywhere.
One of these formats is the ROCKIN’1000 JAM, inspired by the spontaneous sessions that emerged during our earliest gatherings. The JAM is an open, on-stage live session where 5 to 15 musicians rotate across a setlist of songs. Musicians can sign up through the app, choose what to play, access tutorials, and perform without needing to bring gear or a band. Open to Rockin’1000 members and newcomers alike, it's a chance to connect, play, and get closer to the big stage. São Paulo, Milan, Madrid, New York, LA, Rome, and more have already hosted Jams—with many more cities to come.
Building on this, we’ve also introduced the Rehearsal Rooms: local, self-organized meetups to prepare, jam, and grow together. They’re open to all, easy to join, and designed to keep the spirit of playing live alive—any day of the week.
Posizione lavorativa
We’re expanding our formats in France – Jam Sessions, Rehearsal Rooms, and more – and we’re looking for someone to help us make them happen in Paris.
If you live in the city, love live music (even if you don’t play), and are looking for a freelance gig that mixes event production, community management, and partnership building… keep reading.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s for someone who enjoys being out there: talking to venues, coordinating musicians, making sure everything runs smoothly on event nights, and bringing new people into the Rockin’1000 community.
You’ll be the reference point for our local Event Crew – musicians who volunteer to help organize – and the direct link between Paris and Rockin’1000 HQ.
What you'll be doing:
- Negotiate agreements with venues for our events, like Jams and Rehearsal Rooms;
- Build and manage the local event calendar;
- Coordinate local events on the ground, with or without support from other Event Crew members;
- Recruit musicians and promote events locally;
- Build partnerships with local promoters, schools, service providers, etc.;
- Keep communication flowing via chats and posts on our App;
- Find content creators (photo/video) to document the events;
- Be the go-to person for any question, doubt, or need from the Paris event crew.
